A clearer
place to start.
Understand the globe, its layers, and the information behind them.
Getting started
Global Intelligence brings public reporting and map context onto a 3D Earth. Start with a region, choose the layers that matter, and select a report to read its details.
This website provides a product overview and an illustrative browser globe. It is separate from the desktop app. Open the globe preview ↗
All 21 layers
World, infrastructure, environment, and map context can be toggled independently in the app. The layer overview groups the available information.
- World
- World news · Conflict & security · Politics & diplomacy · Humanitarian
- Infrastructure
- Airports · Military bases · Power plants · Strategic sites · Power grid · Airspace & maritime · Cyber & communications · Energy & infrastructure
- Environment
- Storms & flooding · Earthquakes & volcanoes · Wildfires & drought
- Map & context
- Cities & place names · Roads, rail & airports · Buildings · Parks & land use · Country & region borders · Conflict context
Infrastructure detail is revealed at lower virtual camera altitudes: approximately 2,500 km for airports and military bases, 600 km for power plants and strategic sites, and 100 km for the power grid. These are visibility thresholds as you zoom, not detection or coverage ranges.
Reports & daily briefing
Switch the reporting window between 24 hours, 72 hours, and seven days. Reports shows the filtered reading list. Daily briefing presents recent dated reports for the current view.
Selected reports can include a summary, source, publication time, location, and original-source link. When coordinates are available, center the map on that report. Use Refresh to request a fresh feed update.
Sources & coverage
Public feeds have different coverage, refresh times, and availability. Source-status indicators show when feeds are connected or unavailable. An empty view can mean the current filters or time window have no matching reports.
Some places are inferred from report text or represented at country level. Check the location information and original source before drawing conclusions. Infrastructure markers are public mapped inventory. Airspace and maritime coverage is reporting and context, rather than a promise to track every aircraft or ship live.
The browser preview on this website uses illustrative scenarios; its markers are not live reports.
Make the view yours
The app offers 16 map palettes, adjustable border intensity, saved layer preferences, and collapsible Layers and Reports panels. Palette changes keep your location, map detail, and report selection in place.
